Josh Manring photographs southwest Florida and unexpected corners of the globe, capturing rich stories
through images to reveal the dramatic intersection between humans and nature. Since 1998, Josh has explored over 50 countries and has published five photographic books.
Josh’s passions for travel and photography merged on his first visit to Western Europe, following his graduation from Rollins College with a BA in International Relations. This trip laid the foundation for a lifetime of photography, but it was a yearlong expedition to South America and Africa that compelled Josh to share his stories. These stories, as interpreted through images, are the purest reflection of his travel experiences.
Through photography, Josh not only shares his journeys, but also hopes to inspire others to explore their own passions.
Josh is currently working on a new book, Wild Gulf Coast. His next major photographic endeavor will be Asia and India. His ambition is to experience and document at least one new country a year.
